Fravebot - autonomous system for greenhouses
Fravebot is an innovative Czech agricultural robot designed to monitor and care for crops in greenhouses. Its primary function is the autonomous monitoring of plant health, identifying pests and diseases, and accurately predicting harvest times. The robot thus replaces the human factor, which is not able to catch all diseases on the plants. Unlike humans, the robot can scan each individual plant without missing anything.
The system is designed to monitor a wide range of crops such as strawberries, tomatoes or cucumbers, even in greenhouses with dense vegetation.
The robot moves along tracks between rows of plants, where it uses cameras and sensors to take detailed pictures of each fruit. The data collected is analysed using artificial intelligence algorithms, allowing early detection of potential problems and effective intervention.
Precise monitoring minimizes the use of pesticides and chemicals by focusing treatments solely on affected areas. This approach reduces environmental impact and enhances crop quality. Furthermore, accurate harvest predictions allow farmers to better plan distribution and reduce losses caused by inaccurate yield estimates.
