Mobile Grain Crushers

Crushing and grinding moist corn or cereal grain brings a number of benefits and has recently been expanding to farms across Europe and beyond.

Grinding moist grain makes it possible to produce high-quality, energy-rich feed for dairy farms. Ideally, the grain moisture content should be between 35–40%, which is significantly higher than that of dry grain harvesting. Early grain harvesting also allows farmers to sow winter cereals. Grinding moist grain is also economically beneficial, as it eliminates the need for drying or post-drying. It offers much higher digestibility (up to 98%), a higher proportion of water-soluble sugars, and a lower starch content compared to dried grain.

Grain Crusher CS 1000

A machine equipped with a heavy-duty crushing unit featuring cast iron rollers with a length of 1000 mm and a diameter of 300 mm. Thanks to the larger roller diameter, the machine reaches a performance of up to 50 tons per hour. The machine is available either with a stainless steel discharge conveyor (the most commonly sold version) or with a filling chamber for silage bags.

Grain Crusher CD 1000

A machine practically identical to the smaller CS 1000, with the key difference that the CD 1000 is equipped with two crushing units, thus offering double the performance.

Both models come with a remote control with a display, allowing the operator to monitor the amount of preservative applied and to control chimney tilting and machine operation.
