Mulching is a need for land maintenance to prevent weeds and tree seeds from growing. In crop residue management, mulching is an important tool for cheap and quality field preparation for the next operation after harvesting the catch crop – it shortens and crushes crop residue, making its decomposition faster. Mulching is also a method of mechanical elimination of pests, such as the European corn borer in a corn stubble field.

All BEDNAR rotary mulchers have an extremely robust structure with a hot-dipped galvanised frame, making the machine highly resistant to the aggressive plant juices and weather conditions. Easy maintenance is ensured by direct lubrication of all universal joints. Gearboxes are protected with a friction clutch, and the armoured bottom part of the mulcher increases its resistance to collisions. TRASH-FAN – the device for continuous machine surface cleaning is mounted centrally on the machine to provide the best possible effect at work, and also compactness during transport.
