Inter-row cultivators

BEDNAR offers three types of inter-row cultivators. There is the universal ROW-MASTER RN, the sugar beet specialist ROW-MASTER RN_S and the new model ROW-MASTER RN_PROFI, equipped with ROW-UNIT CONTROL. Weeding wide-row crops is becoming more important in terms of limiting the application of chemical plant protection products.

What to use an inter-row cultivator for

The inter-row cultivator improves the vegetation conditions in wide-row crops. Inter-row cultivation is an effective mechanical pest elimination method; it disrupts the soil crust and creates an insulation layer during drought. Plant roots thus have access to the much needed air, and it is also possible to apply liquid or mineral fertiliser while weeding.

Main advantages of BEDNAR inter-row cultivators

BEDNAR inter-row cultivators have an outstanding robust frame and a parallel linkage for each working unit. The cultivator can easily be adjusted to the type of loosening and plant growth stage by simply switching the individual working sections. The silent-block mounting of the individual working units increases their down pressure on soil. Inter-row cultivators can be equipped with the Culti Cam / Tillett & Hague optical guidance system for easy and precise work.
